We work exclusively with self-managed NDIS clients

Check with your individual fund to see if you have ‘Extras’ cover for Occupational Therapy. The health fund may reimburse a certain amount of your OT fee.

Your child may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called an Enhanced Primary Care Plan). This is available from your GP. This provides a partial Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions of allied health services including Occupational Therapy over 12 months. Arrange an appointment with your GP to check eligibility.

Your child may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan. This is available from your GP or Paediatrician. This can be used with a Psychologist or a registered Occupational Therapist. This provides a partial Medicare rebate for up 10 sessions over 12 months. The first referral is for 6 sessions. If required a second referral for an additional 4 sessions can be used.  Karyn Joel is registered as a provider for this plan.
